DEMOPOLIS, AL (WSFA) - The City of Demopolis is picking up the pieces following a severe storm that passed through the area earlier today.
According to Demopolis Mayor Mike Grayson, damage stretched along Highway 80. The roof was blown off of the Central Alabama Farmers Co-op, and the Heritage Hotel sustained serious damage. An abandoned building across from the hotel also lost part of its roof.
